At GA Telesis, our core business is integrated aviation solutions, and our mission is customer success.The Director of Facilities and Integrated Management Systems at GA Telesis will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing facility operations both at our headquarters and composite facility while ensuring compliance with integrated management systems, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), H&S (Health and Safety), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards. This dual role is crucial for maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient environment for our employees, clients, and visitors, while also upholding industry standards and promoting sustainability.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, encompassing space planning, expansion, and optimization for both facility operations and integrated management systems.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align facility and integrated management system objectives with overall business goals.
  • Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards, while also supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated management systems.
  • Oversee the operation of critical systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, security, and emergency response procedures, ensuring alignment with quality, environmental, safety, and energy management processes.
  • Optimize facility space to enhance operational efficiency and accommodate future growth, while also driving initiatives for environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to plan and implement office layouts, workspace modifications, and integrated management system processes.
  • Develop and manage the facility and integrated management system budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness, adherence to financial targets, and identifying areas of cost savings.
  • Select, negotiate contracts with, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring their compliance with contractual agreements and industry standards.
  • Maintain environmental KPIs, facility inspection reports, safety records, waste management reporting, and OSHA injury/accident reporting.
  • Stay informed about aviation regulations and integrated management system standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to safeguard employees and visitors, including conducting regular drills and training exercises for emergency situations.
  • Support internal and external audits and certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001, as well as ESG, and ensure effective implementation of occupational health and safety management systems.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to promote a safe, healthy work environment and identify and implement energy efficiency and green initiatives.
  • Provide training to employees on integrated management systems, environmental management, occupational health and safety, and energy management.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure awareness and understanding of relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in facilities management and managing integrated management systems, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Knowledge of aviation health and safety regulations, environmental sustainability, and energy management principles.
  • Strong leadership, team management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations.
  • Relevant certifications a plus, such as ISO Lead/Internal Auditor certifications, OSHA-Certification, for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and ESG.
