G&W Equipment is Hiring a Service Supervisor Near Raleigh, NC
The Service Supervisor position at G&W includes but is not limited to the following items:
- Supervision of field technicians
- Preparing and delivering service estimates to the customer
- Communicating with customers regarding field/shop service jobs
- Responding to technical service invoice questions
- Managing work in process
- Opening and closing quoted field & shop jobs
- Coordinating repairs & services with outside vendors
- Assisting in scheduling of repairs and maintenance of company owned vehicles
- Working with technicians on growth and development
- Reviewing service invoices for accuracy and quality
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a supervisor or service administration in the material handling industry required
- Work standard hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm
- Self-starter who can work independently or with a team of like associates.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to understand the technical side of lift trucks and/or aerial equipment.
- Able to process paperwork associated with service work.
- Able to effectively manage time
- Drug screen / criminal background check
