Job Overview: As the Vice President of Business Development in the Federal IT space, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our presence within the federal government sector. You will lead a dynamic team of business development professionals to identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities while fostering strategic partnerships and alliances. Your role will be instrumental in shaping our company's strategic direction, enhancing customer relationships, and delivering impactful solutions that address the unique challenges faced by our federal clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives in the Federal IT space.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the federal government sector.
Opportunity Identification: Identify and qualify potential business opportunities, including government contracts, task orders, and procurement vehicles.
Pipeline Management: Manage the business development pipeline, from lead generation to proposal submission, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and growth objectives.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, industry partners, and potential teaming partners.
Proposal Development: Oversee the development of high-quality proposals, including technical, management, and pricing components, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and teaming partners to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
