Project Manager (Cold Form Structural Engineering) - Full Time
Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53204
Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining project budgets.
Manage and review structural engineering drawings for assigned projects/work assignments, including the preparation of plans, schedules, and details.
Review structural systems of primarily cold-formed steel framing for a variety of building types nationwide.
Manage CAD and BIM Technicians to produce shop drawings and BIM models.
Manage engineers on your team on larger projects.
Assist with training and mentoring team members.
Communicate with clients and maintain project schedules and design budgets.
Help lead business development efforts for cold-formed projects, including identifying new opportunities and writing proposals.
Perform and lead the structural design of various building design projects.
Perform construction administration duties.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering.
Minimum of ten years of professional experience in structural design of cold-formed steel building structures.
Extensive knowledge of cold-formed steel design and light steel framing.
Strong working knowledge of AISI standards for cold-formed steel framing projects.
Professional Engineer Licensure required, Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure preferred.
Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs including CFS Designer & RISA.
Leadership skills and good engineering judgement.
