Summary:

The Accounting Clerk will work closely with finance and operations managers to ensure the financial integrity of company financials. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual.

Responsibilities:

· Posting financial transactions using appropriate computer software

· Receiving and recording vouchers, cash and checks

· Maintenance and organization of Accounts Payables process, including issuance of Purchase Orders as directed

· Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings

· Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records

 · Maintenance and organization of financial documents

Qualifications:

· Highly motivated and results-oriented

· 3 years’ experience working in the Construction or Industrial Services industries is preferred

 · 2-3 years accounting/bookkeeping experience

· Experience in Quickbooks

· Ability to work and collaborate directly with accounting/finance & operational managers

 · Be able to successfully function as a member of a team and possess the ability to work under stressful, deadline-driven situations. Must be a self-starter who takes ownership of assigned duties and responsibilities

· Experience working in a high-volume transaction processing environment

· Strong Microsoft Excel computer skills

 · Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively and professionally
