Fusion Health is seeking a bright, motivated, and outgoing Business Development Specialist to join our Business Development team at our Woodbridge, NJ office location! This candidate will participate in dynamic and challenging projects to accelerate the company’s growth through new sales and business opportunities. Position Description & Responsibilities:

TheBusiness Development team is vital to our organization’s mission and growth. This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the Business Development team’s success, such as:

  • Create and execute effective sales and marketing strategies for the company with regular guidance from the Business Development team.
  • Generate and nurture leads into real sales opportunities using various sales techniques.
  • Develop an understanding of the prospect, their interests, and business needs to effectively sell Fusion’s health information technology software solutions and services.
  • Develop verbal and written communication strategies tailored to various stages of the buying process and personas.
  • Support all major phases of the sales lifecycle.
  • Analyze our products and services and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue.
  • Develop and deliver key messages to prospects and clients by developing marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and more.
  • Evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
  • Perform market and competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.
  • Use and maintain business development data and reporting tools to evaluate performance and organize client and prospective client information.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Complete the majority of activities without direction; consulting with supervisor only in regard to new or unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor opportunities across multiple platforms such as websites, publications, and paid subscriptions for public solicitations.
  • Create accurate and compelling content for written proposals and RFPs leveraging various forms of corporate marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate and assemble cohesive proposals including technical, contractual, and pricing content, while ensuring timely submission of accurate, high quality proposals.
  • Maintain and refine documentation/content library.
  • Craft messages for different formats, including social media, website, events, blog, sales enablement, and demand generation to support campaigns and content strategies.
  • Identify market trends and recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate and submit OPRA/FOIA requests.
  • Assist with inside sales opportunities.
  • Perform any other necessary duties required to support the success of our products and services

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related degree.
  • 2 years of work experience in sales and marketing.
  • Ability to think ‘outside of the box’ to generate new leads and create new partnership opportunities.
  • Ability to deal with a high volume of repetitive work (and some rejection) while remaining enthusiastic.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to articulate oneself well by phone and e-mail.
  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels of business.
  • Demonstrated the ability to create accurate, compelling, and attractive documents and/or graphics
  • Must be willing to travel on-site to Fusion HQ, events, prospective client sites as assigned, and conferences/events.

Additional Details:

  • This is an on-site (hybrid), full-time, salaried position at our Woodbridge, NJ office location. Our normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
