Funkhouser Post 8 American Legion is Hiring a Bartender Near Evansville, IN

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. If you have a passion for mixology, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register - Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Assist in restocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a food service or restaurant environment - Strong knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere - Proficient in time management to ensure efficient service during busy periods - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills - Knowledge of brewing techniques for specialty coffee or craft beer is an advantage We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our establishment.
