REPORTS TO: TENx10 DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
The TENx10 On-Call Events & Administrative Assistant will help support the execution of the TENx10 Collaboration. TENx10 is a collaborative national discipleship movement with the mission to make faith matter more for ten million young people over the next ten years.We seek an on-call, team-minded Events & Administrative Assistant with high levels of initiative; organizational and interpersonal skills. This person should be a highly detailed individual with the ability to anticipate challenges and pivot with changes as well as hold an enthusiasm for TENx10’s mission, strategies, and goals.
The TENx10 Events & Administrative Assistant will work closely with the TENx10 Director of Operations to provide operational and administrative support. This includes, but is not limited to, providing administrative, organizational, and event support. This role is on-call and will only be utilized on an as-needed basis, working up to 29 hours per week.
This position is available for remote work within the United States. Subject to payroll state approval by Fuller Theological Seminary.
Operations & Administrative Support
Event development and support
Data entry and overseeing record-keeping databases
Customer service, including responding to inquiries about TENx10
Assist with reclassifying credit card statements, submitting check requests, preparing deposits and reimbursements, and processing other financial paperwork including contracts
Occasional logistical support including running various errands, coordinating Zoom meetings, note-taking and other relevant preparation for team meetings
Events Support
Working closely with the Director of Operations as needed by tracking event registration, sending invitations, and record-keeping
Assist with the preparation of conference materials and printing, catering, venue set up and clean up, and other hospitality-related tasks as needed
Attend and/or travel to regional, national, and virtual gatherings and/or training events in order to logistically support them, up to multiple times per year where assigned
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Two to three years of administrative and/or project experience.
Works well in a multicultural environment with focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
Able to work with a diverse remote team and interact with team members via digital task management systems and virtual meeting environments.
Flexible schedule.
Proven ability to provide superb customer service.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills, with competence in Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and high Internet proficiency.
Experience with and understanding of project management and email marketing software such as Monday.com and Mailchimp preferred.
Broad computer and Internet knowledge and skills required.
Works well under pressure and can manage pressing requests and situations.
Able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while paying attention to deadlines, accuracy, and details.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
Able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours at a time
Able to bend, grasp, and reach
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Requires repetitive motions and sitting at computer keyboard
Able to hear and speak on the telephone
Able to read, take notes, and view a computer monitor
Able to conduct business with other Fuller offices
