**Job Title: Sushi Chef**
**Shift:** 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
**Responsibilities:**
- **Food Safety:** Acquire and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards in food preparation.
- **Independence:** Exhibit the ability to work independently, efficiently rolling sufficient sushi within established timeframes.
- **Menu Mastery:** Learn and master the art of crafting basic rolls on the menu, consistently delivering high-quality and visually appealing sushi.
- **Opening Duties:**
- Prepare rice to perfection.
- Complete prepping tasks for essential ingredients like cucumber, avocados, sauces, and surimi.
- **Closing Duties:**
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the workstation.
- Wash dishes and utensils used during the shift.
- Organize and store ingredients and equipment appropriately.
**Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or relevant culinary role is preferred.
- **Skills:** Proficient in sushi rolling techniques and able to adapt to varying customer demands.
- **Adaptability:** Willingness to learn and follow specific recipes for basic rolls on the menu.
- **Work Ethic:** Demonstrate a strong work ethic with attention to detail, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen at the end of each shift.
