Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst for Oracle and E-Commerce will be owner of all business processes and data maintenance related to these two systems. This role is essential to ensuring our data is clean, reportable and organized correctly for our customers to have the best possible experience when interacting with Sonosite online. Identifies process improvement or automation opportunities with a key focus on user experience, data integrity and operational efficiencies. This position will be interfacing and working with Marketing, Regulatory, Planning, Manufacturing and Finance to ensure our systems our working correctly and delivering a good experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for business processes related to commercial processes for both Oracle and E-Commerce. Make recommendations for improvements to improve results or data.
  • E-Commerce: ensure updates are implemented with the proper product configurations, pricing, discount thresholds and access
  • Oracle: Load price lists, new sales reps, test new part numbers before implementation and other order management maintenance in Oracle
• Fill the role of Oracle Super User for the Sales Operations team, participate in Oracle IT project meetings, become a reference for order management functionality. Meet with users to understand their processes and needs for improvement.
• Maintain the item catalog for Oracle and the E-Commerce platform, including price list maintenance
• Act as the primary liaison between one or more functional departments/projects and IT
• Develop applicable training for new business processes related to Sales Operations in Oracle and E-Commerce
• Participate in commercialization process for new products and services to ensure they are fully tested and ready to deploy in Oracle and the E-Commerce platform
• Maintain and assist in keeping clean customer data by inactivating accounts, creating relationships amongst customers in Oracle, creating user logins for E-Commerce, and linking customers in all of our platforms (Oracle, Salesforce and E-Commerce)
• Create IT project cases, documenting requirements and translating the business need to our IT partners
• Provide metrics and reporting on the use of the e-commerce platform regularly

Knowledge/Experience:

• Bachelor Degree and/or a combination of education and work history.
• 2 years of experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, or administration of business processing systems
• 2 yrs experience with Oracle and Salesforce.com
• A good understanding of the quote to cash process, and the controls required for compliance with al applicable rules and regulations

• Demonstrate a positive and confident personality when interacting with others
• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
• The ability to assess requests, establish deliverable timelines and consistently meet deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
