Position: Sushi Chef

As a Sushi Chef, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, precision, and expertise in crafting delicious and visually stunning sushi dishes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests to enhance their dining experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook in a restaurant setting.
• Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese ingredients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification from a culinary school or sushi training program is a plus.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
