Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen manager or head chef.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
- Handle and store food ingredients properly to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and ovens.
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment.
-Wash dishes that accumulate over the work day.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
