We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP of Land Acquisition to join our executive team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying and acquiring suitable land for residential development.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
• Conduct thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to assess the feasibility of potential land acquisitions.
• Negotiate and secure land purchase agreements, coordinating with legal, financial, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, and industry partners.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with land acquisition and development projects.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact projects.
• Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard the company's interests.

Team Leadership:

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the land acquisition and development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the department.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their professional growth and contributions to the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Civil Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of senior-level experience in land acquisition within the residential real estate industry.
• Proven track record of successfully acquiring residential land projects.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $300,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
