Purchasing Manager - Bonita Springs
One of the largest home-builders in the nation is searching to find an exceptional Purchasing Manager to lead this growing, highly profitable division. This is a new role as they transition from corporate handling purchasing for this division to building a team in Bonita Springs. You would have a direct hand in building out your team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes
- Manage the entire procurement cycle, from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and pricing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective vendor management
- Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost, and take corrective actions when necessary
- Oversee inventory management and maintain appropriate stock levels through effective demand planning
- Implement and utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to streamline procurement activities
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Business or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in Purchasing Management
- High level of understanding of the system applications in one or more homebuilding software packages (i.e., FAST, J.D. Edwards, Lloyds, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of the homebuilding construction process
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers
- Solid understanding of contract management and procurement best practices
- Proficient in using procurement software systems for efficient procurement operations

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
