One of the most tech-centric, forward-thinking, innovative, homebuilders in the nation is looking for a Land Development Project Manager to join their growing organization. This individual will be responsible for guiding the entitlement and development process. They will also help with expediency studies for appointed Oregon and Washington communities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage entitlement approvals for zoning, preliminary plats, construction plans, and final plats.
- Prepare feasibility studies for new land acquisitions. this includes helping with the coordination of third-party studies, preparing budgets, timelines, and reviewing property documents.
- Oversee and correspond with third-party consultants. These could include land planners, engineers, surveyors, environmental consultants, and landscape architects.
- Supervise all development-related contracts for bidding, contracting, construction, processing invoices and project closeout.
- Procure all development required permits.
- Ensure all land development improvements are done timely based on scheduling needs.
- Manage all land development budget needs.
- Support sales and operations teams if needed throughout the process.
Experience:
- 2-4 years experience in related work; specifically land development construction and contract administration.
- Local Real Estate Homebuilding knowledge preferred.
Education & Skills:
- Associate's or undergraduate college degree minimum. Preferably in a major that is relevant to construction or engineering.
- Financial and Budgeting background.
- Ability to read and understand civil construction plans.
- Written and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and project scheduling.
