Facilities Custodian duties and responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

• thorough cleaning of all areas of the restrooms and break rooms (including routine cleanings of the break room refrigerators, bathroom stall dividers, toilets etc.), removal of trash and sanitation of the trash cans
• dusting office areas
• scrubbing/moping/sweeping floors, and replenishing supplies in break rooms and restrooms.
• Ensuring that all indoor areas of each FST facility are up to standard in cleanliness. Responsible to sanitize, clean, and maintain the assigned facilities, routine maintenance, and record/report work completed.
• Understanding the safety requirements involved with using cleaning chemicals, tools, and products.

To ensure success as a Facilities Custodian, you must be skilled in cleaning and sanitation and can work independently on routine and recurring assignments. Adherence to safety procedures is a must and you must have an understanding and ability to use appropriate equipment and tools in completing assignments. You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST.

Qualifications and Skillsets:

• Live FST Traits of Reliable, Invested, Responsive, Adaptable, Passionate, and Innovative
• 2 years of custodial experience is required with a preference for experience in commercial cleaning roles
• Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Multitasking and organizational skills to keep track of various responsibilities
• Time management and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to carry out tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work with team members or individually
• Ability to comply with safety regulations and procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., if required
• Ability to bend, crouch, push, reach, kneel and do repetitive motion for extended periods of time
