Job Summary
As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to sell a wide variety of products, including group outings, hospitality packages, team building, and facility rentals. Your focus will be on acquiring new business through proactive outbound sales calls and in-person meetings both on and off-site. To excel in this role, you should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of clients.
Key Position Responsibilities and Expectations
· Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets
· Forecast and track group customer metrics like quarterly sales and annual forecasts
· Have a relentless pursuit of driving new business while focusing on meeting guest needs
· Successfully build new client relationships by self-prospecting and cold-calling
· Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas, and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
· Develop innovative sales proposals and presentations
· Make actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements
· Utilize the provided CRM tool, including successfully following up and notating activity on assigned leads
· Fulfill contract agreements with detailed accuracy to exceed guest expectations
· Answer guest questions promptly and thoroughly, including guest requests
· Resolve any guest issues quickly and efficiently
· Serve as the liaison between operations and sales, ensuring all aspects of each contract are fulfilled with excellence
· Generate out-of-office as well as in-person face-to-face meetings to create new opportunities with top area businesses, schools, churches, youth sports organizations, etc.
· Attend event day/night activities, including some execution and servicing of client outings
· Greet and check-in groups upon arrival at Fritz’s
· Attend occasional outside-of-the-facility sales prospecting events
· Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors as needed
· Contribute positively to the team culture and environment
· Embrace other related duties as assigned by Supervisor

· Extensive corporate contacts in Southwest Missouri
· Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including C-level
· Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs, including a CRM tool
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Self-motivated and self-starter
· Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects at one time, and adhere to deadlines
· Availability to work flexible hours
