Dining Services Porter

Requirements for a Friendly Home Dining Services Porter:

• Team worker and willing to learn new skills.
• Ability to read and write.
• Minimum 1-year of customer service or food service experience

Responsibilities for a Friendly Home Dining Services Porter:

• Sets tables and trays in assigned area with necessary items for the meal to be served. May deliver food cart to appropriate unit.
• Sets up trays for Members who are unable to attend meal service.
• Adheres to all established safety and sanitation guidelines and follows department policies and procedures.
• Works in the dish room and/or dining room as assigned, following correct procedures to ensure clean and sanitary service to Members.
• May be assigned to put stock away if lifting requirements (lifting up to 50 lbs.) can be met.
