Your role will include developing graphics primarily for digital platforms (media, web, email, landing pages, banners, social) but also for print (direct mail, flyers, packaging labels, boxes) that enhance our brand voice and our point of difference. Our ideal candidate has a portfolio of work with strong digital experience (including mobile design) preferably in the food and beverage industry. You should be a self starter who is organized and willing to project manage creative resource development including leveraging external freelancers (photographers, videographers, graphic and packaging designers) if the need arises.

As the first in house design resource, we are also seeking a creative partner who is willing to roll up their sleeves and build with us during this exciting chapter for Fresh Meal Plan. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of brand visual identity across owned assets and other media outlets

• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral, with a strong mobile first design ethos
• Oversee freelance talent on photo and video shoots (including food styling) to ensure consistent delivery on our style guide

• Ensure projects meet the brief and are completed with high quality and on schedule

• Adhere to and enhance existing brand guidelines

• Prioritize and manage multiple projects against prioritization and in market timing

• Perform retouching and manipulation of images especially for the digital web meal catalog as needed

• Proficient working across a wide range of media and deep experience with graphic design software

• Track current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends for best in class asset design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field

• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, eCommerce and mobile experience required, preferably with experience in food and beverage. Food lover is a plus!

• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills

• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, & typography for print and web applications

• Familiarity with HTML and CSS a plus

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant graphic design software
• Portfolio of work over a wide range of media with some art direction experience
