Title: Optical Systems Test Engineer
Duration: Project - Long-Term Vendor 
Location: Onsite Redmond, WA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week 
Role:
- Writing software to test, analyze and visualize the optical performance of hardware at component level and system level.
- Experience writing software for image processing, data analysis, automating test cases etc.
- Leveraging excellent technical communication skills and hands-on prototyping skills, they’ll work to develop test software, communicate results and collaborate on design solutions.
- Develop test software for AR/VR products optical performance evaluation.
- Establish and maintain document to describe test algorithm, test flow.
- Analyze, summarize, visualize test results to support development and evaluation. 
- Troubleshoot and debug test systems and automation solutions from a software and hardware perspective in full autonomy.
- Identify and root cause image quality and performance issues.
- Participate in test design and development.
Skills:
- 3-5 years experience with digital imaging systems and optical performance evaluation.
- Experience with designing and implementing image quality test, performing data analysis and generating reports.
- 3-5 year experience with programming in Python, C or other equivalent programming languages
- Experience with the SW release process and version control.
- Experience in computer vision metrics and techniques.
- Familiarity with camera or display optics, image sensor technology. 
- Experience with imaging testing lab and test setup design and implementation.
- Experience operating equipment in image quality lab.
- Experience writing software for hardware applications (robotics, equipment automation)
- Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for fully automated complex systems
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis is desired-
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems without explicit directions
Education: BSCSE, BSEE or related.
