Title: Audio Test Engineer
Duration: Project Based Long-Term Vendor
Location: Redmond, WA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week
Role:
- Develop and execute test plans for various research audio systems.
- Analyze test data and provide detailed reports on findings.
- Collaborate with the research team to verify system performance and functionality.
- Ensure all audio systems meet the necessary requirements and specifications.
Skills:
- Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following industries - Consumer electronics audio, Pro audio, Telecommunications, Smart home/speech devices, Car audio/infotainment, Room/building/structural acoustics, Hearing aid industry etc..
- Experience in design verification (or test) engineering is highly desirable.
- Focus on hardware, with experience in measuring loudspeakers, microphones, and their integration into audio systems.
- Understanding the interaction of speakers, microphones, audio electronics, noise and vibration analysis, and audio signal processing.
- Experience using some or all of B&K or GRAS measurement transducers, analyzers such as Audio Precision, Listen Soundcheck, or HEAD acoustics, and vibro-acoustic measurement with e.g. Polytec LDV, Microflown, or Keyence systems.
- Demonstrable passion and interest in audio - e.g. music, live sound/recording, or hobby audio and electronics preferred.
- Scripting, automation, and data analysis using Python or Matlab preferred.
- Passionate about audio and have the technical skills to match.
Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Acoustics is preferred. Candidates with an Associate's degree and sufficient experience will also be considered.
