Title: Mobile Software Engineer 
Duration: 1 year with high possibly of extension
Location: Remote in New York, NY or Houston, TX, Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week 

Role:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Work on SDKs & Apps that handle real time chat traffic for millions of customers each day.
- Producing modular, well-tested, and documented code with an eye on scalability & performance.
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
- Be an influencer. Proactively find and solve problems without guidance.
- Work effectively with cross functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes.

Skills:
- 5 years of mobile engineering work experience, including hands-on experience implementing highly scalable and available systems.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Preferred Skills:
- Deep experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, coroutines & Jetpack.
- Experience working with an Android SDK.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs like JetPack Navigation, Retrofit & Moshi.
- Experience with usage of push notifications.
