Frenchies Modern Nail Care is looking for an Assistant Concierge to cover evenings and weekends. Frenchies Modern Nail Care is focused on clean and healthy nail care. We are located at the Ventura Harbor!
The Assistant Concierge is a member of our wonderful team and will help with studio operations as well as the guest experience cycle. You must have a positive attitude, outgoing personality, enthusiastic on the phone and strong at multi-tasking in a busy atmosphere.
We are looking for someone to share our love to help make people feel better and experience the healthiest and cleanest manicure and pedicures in town! Our goal is the exceed our guests expectations from the moment they come in through the door, until they walk out. We want our guests to leave happier than when they came in.
Essential Functions: Maintain a clean and professional environment :
Clean and sanitize pedicure & manicure stations
Clean, sanitize and disinfect implements
Launder and fold towels
Pre-package lotions and sugar scrubs
Make disposable file & buffer kits for services
Refill manicure & pedicure drawers with liquids & supplies
Check with technicians to assist as needed
Assist with inventory as requested
Fold laundry and prepare spa neck wraps
Make sure closing duties are complete (i.e., Sweep, clean up, take out trash, etc)
Follow safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above functions, report/remove unsafe equipment and attend safety/training education sessions.
Embrace the guest experience cycle
Check in guests and make sure they feel welcome
Provide studio tours & seat guests
Assist with guest preferences (i.e., neck wraps, hot towels, blankets, finding polish colors, drinks, etc.)
Answer phones & book appointments
Confirm appointments by phone & text
Conduct cashier transactions & retail sales
Review appointment notes to prepare for introduction to technician, escort to hand washing station, scent & polish walls
If new guest & technician is not ready, provide tour and education on the Frenchies difference (after fully trained and confident on the story flow)
Update guest information in the point-of-sale system on computer
Write thank you notes
Educate on the polish pass membership program
Print job cards and prepare for daily schedule
Prepare birthday or celebration signs as needed
Other duties as assigned to foster the spirit of teamwork and smooth transition of guests in and out of the pedicure and manicure areas
