Freese and Nichols Inc., is looking for a Project Accountant with experience in project accounting with a primary focus on contract review, project maintenance, revenue recognition, and project invoicing. Responsibilities: Set-up of projects in the accounting system, reviewing and maintaining project-related documents, including contracts and amendments, revenue recognition, reviewing and approving timesheets, data analysis, and processing invoices that align with client and contract requirements. Occasional travel between offices is required, as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance role Familiarity with Accounting software strong analytical and critical thinking skills, initiative, and attention to detail with the capability of working independently Effective communication skills, possessing the ability to collaborate with employees throughout the organization, vendors, and clients, while building long-distance positive relationships across offices Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel Preferred Prior experience within the Architect/Engineering industry At Freese and Nichols, everyone on our team gets to make a meaningful difference in our communities.
