Position Summary

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Junior Accountant with QuickBooks experience. This position requires an enthusiastic quick learner, a problem solver, strong math and reconciliation skills, and a positive CAN-DO attitude. In addition, the successful candidate will be extremely detail oriented with excellent communication skills, dependable and work well in a casual but fast-paced environment. The Junior Accountant will work to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Great opportunity for growth and development in the field of accounting. This position reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily sales reports (Accounts Receivable)
• Maintains bookkeeping files.
• Enter all invoices into QuickBooks.
• Provides back-up to the finance team.
• Maintains accounting software and file backup.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements as required by Controller.
• Weekly Payoneer’s entries and payments, as needed by the Controller.
• Manage discrepancies in books with accurate information.
• Assist the Controller with auditor requests during the quarterly audits.
• Monthly Revenue Payments.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Perform clerical and other related duties as required.
• Backup for Payroll.
• Answer emails regarding customer revenue inquiries.
• Complete and provide financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Income Statements, and Trial Balances to the Controller
• Reconcile crossed invoices and income to ensure 100% accuracy by verifying entries and company system report balances.
• Maintain general ledger accounts.
• Assist with special projects and tasks as directed by the Controller.

Qualifications:

• 5 years general accounting, audit, financial analysis.
• BA/BS degree in Accounting.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting competencies
• Good organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and competency in computer software
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be dependable and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Experience in SOX.

The salary range for this role is $53,000 to $65,000

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.

Additional forms of compensation, which will include stock options, will be discussed with candidates during the time of a final interview.
