Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.

The Sr. HR Data Analytics Specialist will oversee the use and transformation of HR data to inform and influence strategic people decisions at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. This role involves rigorous analysis of HR data, predictive modelling, data visualization and storytelling. This role will translate data into an actionable narrative.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex HR data and business problems to identify trends, correlations, and insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Produce and present meaningful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to illustrate key HR metrics.
• Design, create and evaluate predictive models to forecast HR trends in creative and effective ways; deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Uses advanced professional knowledge, concepts and departmental or organizational objectives to influence and advise on data analysis methodologies and interpretation of insights; translate complex data into clear and concise insights and stakeholder presentations.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards methodologies when handling and analyzing sensitive data.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field or HS diploma and equivalent experience.
• Seven years of experience in HR data analytics or a related role.
• Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools/software(e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python) .
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated learning agility.
• Strong Understanding of HR processes and HRIS systems; Workday experience highly preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Master's degree in HR, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Professional certification in HR or Analytics (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CAP, etc.).
• Experience with AI/Machine Learning tools and predictive modeling.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $99,445 to $157,144, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
