Fred H. Peck, DDS is Hiring a Dental Front Desk Receptionist Near Cincinnati, OH

ROLE:

The office of Dr. Fred Peck and Dr. Megan Frew is looking to hire an exceptional Dental Front Desk Receptionist. The office of Dr. Peck and Frew is a leading specialty dental practice on the northeast side of Cincinnati specializing in a variety of dental and cosmetic services. The practice is renowned for its use of leading-edge dental procedures and a variety of advanced technologies including Cerec, 3D cone beam x-rays, lasers, digital x-rays and many more. This Dental Front Desk Receptionist opportunity offers an excellent opportunity with a stable practice and a 4-day work week providing for work/life balance.

The schedule will be weekdays from 6:45 AM to 5:30/5:45 PM. The office is usually closed on Wednesday, and never open on weekends. Occasional Wednesdays may be required in place of another day off depending on the practice schedule. This is the perfect opportunity to work in an upscale and friendly environment, with a variety of duties, four days a week.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Support the front desk related operations of Dr. Peck and Dr. Frew’s cosmetic dentistry practice, including answering phone calls and greeting patients
  • Verify patient questions and issues are resolved professionally and promptly
  • Provide administrative support to front office staff, including document scanning, insurance claims, and billing
  • Assist with collections and the coordination of payment arrangements for patients
  • Support marketing initiatives for the practice and its wide offering of services, including social media updates
  • Schedule patients for follow-up appointments and confirm upcoming appointments
  • Assist clinical staff with equipment sterilization and cleaning, the break down and set up of rooms after treatment, and packaging cases.
  • Help with stocking of operatory supplies
  • Special projects as determined by management
  • Possible light front chairside assistance duties

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong and professional verbal, telephone, listening, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Positive, patient, and professional
  • Warm and friendly demeanor in person and over the phone
  • Proven organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Quick learner, with openness to constructive feedback
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced patient focused and collaborative team environment
  • At least one year of experience in a receptionist or front office role
  • One year experience in the front office of a dental or health care practice preferred
  • Experience with Dentrix a plus

BENEFITS

Drs. Peck and Frew provide a competitive salary and benefits (dental care, paid vacation/ personal time off, 401K, profit sharing and continuing education) after a pre-determined waiting period.

SCHEDULE

The Dental Front Desk Receptionist works 36 to 38 hours over 4 weekdays, with no weekend or travel requirements. Candidates must be willing to occasionally switch days off, normally switching from a Wednesday to a Friday, as weekly schedule is subject to change with advance notice.
