Frank Group is Hiring a Plant Manager Near Evansville, IN

The Plant Manager's responsibility is to provideleadership to all departments for overall vision and direction of the plant byway of guidance, direction, encouragement, training, and development. The Plant Manager is also responsible for developingand coaching managers and supervisors to excel to the peak of their performancelevels by successfully directing all managerial personnel in managing theirdepartments and functional areas to meet the manufacturing plant’s operationaland financial objectives while supporting the values, mission, vision, andpriorities of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulates or approves short- or long-term operating objectives in areas such as cost reduction, quality, and new product integration as undertaken at the plant level.
  • Lead trouble shooting of formulation and process deviations, assuring corrective actions are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
  • Responsible for the manufacture of safe quality foods that meet the requirements of all regulatory agencies and our customers
  • Oversee all Operational aspects of Manufacturing, Distribution, Facilities, Personnel, and compliance.
  • Manages individual bakery operating budget to align with company budgetary expectations.
  • Implements, plans, and schedules to assure achievement of appropriate volume of production ensuring product meets targeted return on assets employed and contribution to sales and profits.
  • Defines and directs the administration plant or facility policies within the framework and intent of the company's manufacturing charter.
  • Ensures product quality meets established standards and that costs are within budget.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of capital plans related to production improvement or expansion.
  • Establishes and maintains favorable plant/facility company and community relationships through active participation in community affairs.
  • Directs the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by eliminating hazards, training employees, and promoting safety awareness.
  • Manages and/or provides appropriate support for support functions such as accounting/finance human resources information technology.
  • Directs trains and develops subordinates.
  • Holds each department accountable for the performance of their respective operation, including all reporting, deadlines and outcomes.
  • Sets and monitors KPIs while developing and supporting operational strategies.

Qualifications

  • Lean Mfg, Continuous Improvement, or TPM experience
  • 10 years related experience (food or beverage manufacturing)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety, Associate SafetyPrograms/Systems HAACP, GMPs etc. Sanitation and Plant Maintenance.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in food manufacturing required
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and interact with all levels, from operational employees to executive representatives.
