POSITION: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - PLASTIC EXTRUSION MANUFACTURING

JOB TYPE: Full Time

SCHEDULE: 12 Hour Shifts- 48/60 rotation

5:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

LOCATION: 1618 Lynch Rd Evansville, IN 47711

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. Position requires a good eye for detail and a strong working knowledge of mathematical concepts, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A top class quality technician can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.

· Developing and maintaining inspection reports

· Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards

· Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State Law

· Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly

· Reporting quality issues to the supervisor

· Collating test data and drafting quality reports

· Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes

· Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures

· Performs other duties as assigned

· Great communication with management and peers

REQUIREMENTS:

· High School Education/GED equivalent

· Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing production environment

· Dependable to maintain good attendance and punctuality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour (Determined upon experience within the field)
