Job Title : Financial Analyst 2
Job Summary :
- The Financial Analyst 2, who reports to the Director of Finance, coordinates, compiles and interprets information from multiple data systems regarding health care services, departmental productivity, and costs in an effort to ensure efficient departmental and network management and the provision of high quality health care services. This position also assists in maintaining the integrity of provider compensation calculations, works with Accounting and other hospital support departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data, assists in the preparation of statistical information and reports for the management and operations team and conducts other special projects as needed.
- 3 years in a hospital or physician practice finance, decision support or accounting position.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Financial Statement Preparation
- Coordinates, compiles and interprets information from multiple data systems regarding health care services, departmental productivity, and costs in an effort to ensure efficient departmental and network management and the provision of high quality health care services.
- Utilizes statistical and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports and financial statements for the Physician Group.
- Generates and analyzes ad hoc and statistical reports for Physician Group administration.
- Completes all statistical input reporting.
- Prepares spreadsheets.
- Responsible for financial reporting requests.
- Creates and produces all reports in a timely manner, monitoring and interpreting any trends.

- Reconciliation & Analysis
- Handles special projects in forecasting and financial analysis of monthly reports for Lake Physician Group Administration including the preparation of annual budgets..
- Performs monthly calculations for provider productivity model compensation and does quality checks to ensure validity.
- Works closely with Accounting staff to ensure the integrity of financial data. Prepares monthly journal entries.
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
