Looking for a full time ( 40 hours/ week) medical assistant who can perform both administrative and routine clinical tasks, with experience working in a medical or healthcare setting.

The medical assistant will be responsible for:

*Greeting and checking patients in and out for their appointments, bringing patients into the examination room.

* Documenting patient medical information including medical history, vitals, and reason for visit

* Sending specimens in for laboratory analysis

*Sending MRI and EMG requisitions

* Dispensing durable medical equipment

* Prepping exam rooms for clinical procedures and assist physician with patient care

*Keeping exam rooms clean and inventory stocked

* Autoclaving instruments

* Proficiency in administrative tasks

*Provide front desk coverage, scheduling patient appointments and maintaining communication to confirm future appointments

* Managing office telephone system including answering calls and returning messages

* Scan and file documents into patient's chart

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
