In this position, you will be directly involved in the maintenance, reliability, and improvement of their trading systems. Prior experience supporting trading systems is required, as is knowledge of Bash / Perl / Python. The ideal candidate in this role is someone who has a heavy emphasis on automation and a strong working knowledge of UNIX / Linux, and FIX protocol.

The TradeOps team is responsible for managing the live trading environment. You will help to create and maintain the most robust and efficient trading platform in the world, which includes configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the firm’s trading as well as handling risk, regulatory and development tasks. You will focus on automating common tasks and preparing for the unexpected. Project areas include: market access, monitoring and compliance, algo/strategy evaluation and management, performance tuning, and automation.

This firm brings a scientific approach to trading financial products - you’ll be responsible for managing new initiatives and ensuring a smooth trading day. You will be the first line of defence when the inevitable happens, and the subject matter expert on recent changes to the production trading platform.
