Position is based out of our Rossville, GA location and is primarily on Monday and Thursday. Some outreach events and meetings will be required during other hours periodically. This position provides administrative support to the child counseling program by scheduling clients, providing assistance to the therapists, working with referral sources, and keeping the program running smoothly. Additionally, this position works with the caregivers of the child clients to increase their stability and success by providing resources, referrals, and assistance. Often times the caregivers are survivors of domestic violence or grandparents raising relative children. This position also assists clients in our other programs that have been identified as survivors of violence or as relative caregivers to increase their safety, stability, and success with outreach, awareness, and resources. Candidates for this position must be self motivated, able to work independently, and have experience working with survivors of violence or their caregivers. Hours will vary slightly week to week but will be 10-12 hours per week the majority of the time.
Full time hours available if able to work in the supervised visitation program as well as a Visit Observer/Transporter. Evening until 7:30 pm and Saturday 9 am - 6:30 pm availability required. Duties include: The Visit Observer is responsible for assisting with daily office activities as well as observing visits. This includes case management and oversight of the facility for use by clients. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
