Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay. This is a vital role in our hotel, as you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including night audit procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with phone systems and computer software used in the hospitality industry
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and diplomacy
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
