The Administrative Director will work in partnership with a team of early childhood educators to lead our childcare/preschool center. The school has a typical enrollment of 100 children with a team of 20 educators. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours/week to ensure all duties are met.

The ideal candidate is someone who wants to grow and learn as a leader, who embraces opportunity for change and program improvement, is self-driven and motivated, is curious about advocacy, and has excellent time management and organizational skills. A certain level of tech savviness is also required to keep school laptops and tablets operating, understanding components of the childcare management system, basic social media marketing, and tracking data in simple spreadsheets.

Administrative Director specific duties include, but are not limited to:

-Responsible for maintain DFS licensing requirements;
-Reviewing and updating program files and documents annually;
-Processing tuition billing and payroll hours;
-Maintaining data to drive program improvement and decision making;
-Oversee building upkeep, organization, and cleanliness;
-Maintaining child enrollment and waitlist;
-Recruitment of educators;
-Building a strong home/school connection;
-Above all, help to create a strong school culture!

Minimum Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, or a similar discipline;
-5 years of teaching in a birth-5 setting or providing direct service work to young families;
-2 years of leadership in a birth-5 setting;
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
-Working knowledge of State of Wyoming licensing rules for childcare centers.

Compensation and benefits:

Beginning Salary Range $40,000-$42,500; paid holidays; PTO time; 40% tuition discount
