Duties

• Provide direct care and support to four individuals with disabilities in the community

setting each day

• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals by following proper protocols and procedures

• Implement individualized care plans and support goals for each client

• Engage individuals in social and skill building activities to promote socialization and community integration

Requirements

• Maintain valid driver's license, auto insurance and auto registration

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR (Must be certified within 30 days of hire)

• Ability to engage and assist clients in physical activities

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment

• Understanding of client rights and ability to advocate for individuals' needs

• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16.5 – 27.5 per week
