- Knowledge of contractual requirements and creation of schedules to maintain properly skilled staffing levels to satisfy those schedules.
- Utilizes TSheets timekeeping daily, logging in and out for lunch.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and maintain organization.
- Maintains, repairs, and ensures all equipment is in proper working condition including HVAC systems, water treatment systems and emergency generator systems and various other mechanical systems.
- Ability to replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, replacing sinks, water coolers, toilets, equipment; repairing or replacing floor tiles, replace paneling, hanging doors and installing door locks, replacing broken windowpanes, and perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Orders replacement items through purchasing and works with vendors regarding repairs to existing equipment.
- Submits receipts on a weekly basis to the corporate office for processing.
- Perform any additional duties on an "as required" basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual responsibilities.
- Issue reports and summaries as required.
- Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Resolves clients' concerns, conducts follow-up calls and makes onsite visit inspections for satisfactory job performance.
- Create estimates as needed. Help with administrative tasks as needed.
- Willing to travel to St. Louis Once a month.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- The HVAC Mechanic will have 5 years’ experience in the Operations & Maintenance of building operational systems including HVAC, Fire Suppression Systems, Environmental (to include Oil Water Separator Servicing) and Water Treatment procedures.
- The HVAC Mechanic will be proficient with MS Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project), possess outstanding written and oral communication skills, and be willing to travel, as necessary.
