The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of computer-controlled and mechanically controlled machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments, and tools.
Responsibilities
Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, band saws, surface grinders, visual grinders, radial drill presses, bench grinders and various hand power tools used in machining, assembling and repairing metal parts, progressive dies, injection molds, tools and equipment.
Receives instructions from Supervisor on work assignments.
