Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Career Services Advisor to join our team. As a Career Services Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting students and alumni with their career development and job search strategies. You will provide guidance, resources, and support to help individuals achieve their professional goals.

Duties:
- Provide academic advising and career counseling to students and alumni
- Assist with resume writing, cover letter development, and interview preparation
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address career-related concerns
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers for job placement opportunities
- Organize and facilitate career fairs, workshops, and networking events
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development into the curriculum
- Stay updated on industry trends and labor market information to provide accurate guidance
- Utilize Ellucian or similar software to track student progress and maintain records

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education Administration, Counseling, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in academic advising, mentoring, or career counseling
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Experience in recruiting or working with students in an educational setting
- Excellent public speaking skills for presenting workshops and information sessions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Ellucian or similar student information systems
- Ability to conduct interviews and assess individual needs for career development
