Join our Dynamic Team! As the Night Manager for our luxury hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours. You will ensure the safety and security of guests and employees, handle guest inquiries and requests, and manage any issues or emergencies that may arise. Additionally, you will supervise night staff and coordinate with other departments to deliver exceptional service and maintain the hotel's standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the front desk and lobby area during the overnight shift, greeting guests, handling check-ins/check-outs, and providing assistance as needed.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues to the guest's satisfaction and maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address any guest requests or issues during the night shift.
• Supervise night staff, including front desk agents, security personnel, and other overnight employees, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Conduct nightly audits of hotel operations, including room status, occupancy levels, and revenue reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Manage reservations and room assignments for arriving guests, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient use of available inventory.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, and common areas, to uphold the hotel's standards of excellence.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing reports, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records of guest interactions and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and management to relay important information, updates, and concerns from the overnight shift.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guests and employees during the night shift, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy in all interactions.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3 years experience in a hotel front office or night audit role required, preferably in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other hotel management systems
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a diverse team of employees.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, employees, and vendors.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and resourceful approach to resolving issues and addressing guest needs.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.
• Knowledge of safety and security protocols, including emergency response procedures and fire safety regulations.
• Professional demeanor and appearance, with a commitment to upholding the hotel's standards of excellence and guest satisfaction.
