As an ADON, you're in a leadership position where you can make a significant impact on patient care and the overall operation of the facility. You have the opportunity to mentor and guide nursing staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

ADONs typically have advanced clinical skills and knowledge. You get to use your expertise to ensure that residents receive the highest quality of care. Your clinical background allows you to contribute to decision-making processes regarding patient treatments and care plans.

You'll work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians, therapists, and administrators. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams allows for a holistic approach to patient care and promotes a supportive work environment.

Educational/Training Requirements

• Must have completed an RN or LVN program at an accredited vocational schools, college, or university

Licensing Requirements

• Must possess a current and valid Texas RN or LVN Licensure
• Must have Charge Nurse or ADON experience in LTAC or SNF
