Forms Surfaces is Hiring a Product Manager Near Phoenix, AZ
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Architectural Products Division, aligning with company goals and market demands.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Use insights to drive product development and positioning.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement go-to-market plans for new product launches, including marketing collateral, sales training, and promotional activities.
- Product Development: Lead cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new architectural products. Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements. Spearheaded product improvement initiatives and manage new product testing through 3rd party vendors.
- Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by developing sales tools, conducting product training, and participating in customer meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the go-to technical expert for the product line. Provide technical support to sales, engineering, marketing, and customers. Curate and manage database of technical inquiries and product management requests.
- Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to establish new standard part numbers, bills of materials, and job order routings for new products. Provide expertise on manufacturing processes and contribute to inventory and manufacturing strategy.
- Marketing Collaboration: Partner with marketing to provide technical data and expertise for creation of new product data sheets and nomenclature.
- Project Management: Conduct meetings and calls with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track. Travel to customer sites with sales team to facilitate effective technical communication and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the architectural products industry.
- Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with analytical mindset and ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
