Pay Structure: $65,000.00 base Commission on Service

Position Summary: This position is vital in supporting the service department and billing operations. They are responsible for customer and warranty billing, managing accounts payable, and coordinating with various departments within the organization. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a customer-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- *MUST* have well-rounded knowledge of heavy-duty machinery, mainly forklifts, to understand what parts and services are required for regular PMs and maintenance issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, gathering feedback and expectations via phone, email, or face-to-face interactions.
- Provide quotes, develop claims, and update customers on repair work status.
- Handle payment methods and invoicing for customer payments and warranty processing.- Coordinate with procurement to order necessary materials for repairs.
- Assist in scheduling repairs and communicate daily with the Service Manager.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through follow-ups and check-ups on past services.
- Field service calls and emails regarding repairs, including emergency repairs.
- Review repair orders for accuracy before billing, ensuring labor hours and materials are accounted for.
- Submit warranty claims, track warrantable parts, and address warranty-related inquiries promptly.
- Generate purchase orders for Road Technicians and assist with other Service Advisor tasks as needed.
Position Requirements:
- 2-10 years of related experience, including basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Bachelor's degree preferred for the Service Writer position.
- Strong team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.
- Mechanical aptitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with exposure to heavy machinery demonstrations and minimal hazards.
