EPM Motorsports in Chicago, IL is looking for a motorcycle service writer.
With Chicago's lack of reputable and experienced Powersports repair centers, EPM Motorsports has made its name and is continuing to make its name as a premier destination for Powersports vehicle repair and maintenance.
Our shop is notoriously motorcycles and ATVs, but we are POWERSPORTS. We do get PWC, snowmobiles, UTVs, and Can Am Spyders/Rykers.
You will be the first service writer that EPM has hired. Beyond just service writing, we would imagine that being the first in this position would allow the correct individual to jumpstart their own department. Influencing your own creativity to create a department that benefits your own interests along with the company's is something we are looking for. It's a unique opportunity for the correct person that has interest in building something greater than themselves, especially in a city like Chicago where a need for quality repairs has simply gone by the wayside.
You will have five technicians to write for.
The basics of your service writing position:
In general, you will be service writing and adhering to front office administrative tasks.
Requirements to obtain this service writing position:
Compensation will purely depend on your prior experience in motorcycle service writing. IF YOU CAN WRITE HARLEY QUOTES WITH NO HELP, YOUR WAGE TO START WILL BE MORE. We generally want to pay hourly, 40 hours a week, up to $30/hour to start. To get $30/hour to start, you would presumably have been service writing at another shop/dealership for awhile and can be put in this position with little to no training. If you think you deserve more than $30/hour, explain yourself to why that is and we are open to listening and considering.
If you think you might fit well with the EPM Motorsports team, please reach out to us!
