Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
- Provide information to callers and visitors, including basic company information or directions
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- File and organize documents, both physical and electronic
- Perform basic proofreading tasks to ensure accuracy of documents
Requirements:
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar setting
- Ability to transcribe and type accurately at a reasonable speed
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail in filing and maintaining records
- Basic proofreading skills to identify errors or inconsistencies in documents
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with visitors, callers, and staff members
