BARTNEDER JOB DESCRIPTION

Mission: Treat our guests better than they expect to be treated. Maintain a high standard of quality and efficiency when mixing drinks and serving guests. Work well with teammates to maximize potential.

Start of shift:

  • Be at INFO FEST on time
  • Check the bar, lounge area, and patio for cleanliness.
  • Check the service station. Ensure that everything is stocked and prepared for the shift.
  • Check that the dessert station is well stocked with plates, dessert forks/spoons, and desserts are thawed and ready to serve.
  • Check prepped items for quality.
  • Check that levels of prepped items are appropriate for the shift (cut-fruit, glassware, etc.)

Running side work:

  • Run food!
  • Brew tea and coffee when out or low
  • Alert MOD if salad case is running low
  • Keep service area clean and swept at all times
  • Cut fruit and maintain stock if we are running low
  • Stock service items if needed (Ketchup, Napkins, etc.)
  • Pre-buss and buss all tables
  • Check bathrooms throughout shift
  • Seat guests
  • Spot sweep when floors are dirty

End of Shift:

  • Do all the table work for your section, completely
  • Do all the assigned side work, completely
  • Continue to run food while on the clock
  • Continue to seat guests while on the clock
  • Turn off all Patio lights, heaters, and fire pit.

Bartenders are responsible for:

  • Coming to work with a clean and complete uniform
  • Having the proper attitude for work and success
  • Helping each other
  • Running food that is still hot/cold
  • Knowing the menu
  • Being knowledgeable about our bar selection
  • Doing ALL of the assigned table and side work
  • Either working or covering your scheduled shifts
  • 100% guest satisfaction
