Fonroche Lighting America is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Grapevine, TX

Sales Representative

Fonroche Lighting America specializes in off-grid, solar powered street lighting for municipalities, developers, and commercial facilities. Fonroche Lighting America is part of the largest solar lighting entity in the world, Fonroche Lighting, headquartered in France. We are investing in growing our US sales team and marketing efforts.

We sell to government, and commercial prospects that are involved in planning and installing public lighting for parks, trails, parking lot and roadways.

As a Sales Representative, you will prospect for new clients through targeted lists, leads, and independent research. Primary activities for this will include information gathering and appointment setting for qualified contacts. You will also follow up with existing pipeline projects & past customers, assist with order processing, and provide sales support to improve sales team efficiencies. Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Update call records in Salesforce (CRM) environment
  • Effectively communicate features, added value and benefits of solar powered lighting
  • Manage time and information to maximize productivity
  • Navigate through gatekeepers and reach decision makers
  • Heavy outbound call activity
  • Intermittent survey calls
  • Process orders
  • General sales support to help sales team efficiencies

Requirements

  • Experience working in a business environment.
  • Experience working in a customer facing role
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Persistent and results oriented

Desirable

  • Experience calling on municipal, specification and/or developer accounts.
  • Experience in construction material sales

This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager, with potential career growth in field sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
