Level: Executive

  • B2B SaaS Software Sales in the enterprise marketplace
  • 10 years in senior leadership (domestic and international)
  • 10 years of direct and channel sales experience
  • A migrating company from on-premise to Cloud
Job Description:
The Vice President of Sales will lead the sales organization and affiliated teams to achieve quotas and growth projections. This includes channel sales as well as direct sales and services. You will spearhead strategic sales initiatives and the execution and monitoring of progress to ensure both short and long-term growth. This hands-on role requires direct engagement with presales, sales, and customer success management. You will also work closely with senior executives internally to develop and execute business strategies for consistent growth as the company continues evolving as the leading SaaS provider in content services/business automation. In addition, you will bring and impart deep knowledge of best practices related to hiring, retention, sales enablement, sales best practices and coaching, reporting, forecasting, and compliance with corporate policies.
Location:
  • Three days/week work from office LA County
  • Work from home on Mondays and Fridays
About the Role - Essential Functions:
  • Provide direction and leadership toward the achievement of the company's mission and goals
  • Collaborate with Executive and Senior Leadership to develop strategic plans to meet SaaS growth initiatives in new business channels and market penetration is established within targeted industries
  • Partner and collaborate with internal key stakeholders from different lines of business, such as Business Development, Finance, Legal, and other Senior Executives
  • Execute and drive the go-to-market strategy
  • Analyze and monitor competitor and market activity
  • Review and improve the efficiency of business processes and sales operations
  • Build executive-level advocacy within the customer base and represent the company at industry events and public meetings when relevant
About You - Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience as an individual contributor and sales leader as a Vice President/Partner in an Enterprise High-Tech SaaS marketplace
  • Proven experience and track record with building and motivating sales teams, developing/implementing lead generation activities, gathering and evaluating business metrics, delivering upon expectations, and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership
  • 5 years as an individual contributor and 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role (domestic and international)
  • Hybrid work--Three days in the office, 2 days remote
  • Advanced education in sales, marketing, business development, or its equivalent
  • Strategic experience in a SaaS sales environment,
  • Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce), Microsoft tools and reporting, and Lead Generation Applications
  • Ability to manage several projects at once and positively motivate teams simultaneously
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
  • Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant experience
