Summary

The Part-Time Store Sales Associate/Delivery Driver assists customers with their product needs and provides excellent customer service. and drives a company van/truck to deliver and unload paint and paint-related products to different locations. Work 20-30 hours a week. 

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assists customers by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
2. Assists customers with orders, questions, and concerns.
3. Assists with the taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping accurate records of colors and pricing and dot cards for each color made. Performs various duties of all store personnel whenever needed.
4. Handle customer inquiries via the telephone by providing accurate information regarding products and product applications and process telephone orders accordingly. 
5. Ensure sales transactions are completed accurately. 
6. Maintain accurate work order files and formulas as needed. 
7. Document and refer potential customer leads to manager and/or sales rep. 
8. Answer customer’s complaints or inquiries.
9. Ensure customers’ quality and service expectations are met. 
10. Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, tint, and mix to customer specifications. 
11. Ensure order forms are properly completed, place orders, and follow up as necessary. 
12. Record information on appropriate forms for proper completion of orders/ requests and process in a timely manner. 
13. Restocks shelves with paint and sundry supplies.
14. Operate the POS for all types of transactions. 
15. Ensure merchandise has been processed through POS or recorded prior to merchandise leaving the store. 
16. Drives van or truck to deliver such items as paint and paint-related products to customer's place of business
17. Ensures that the assigned Florida Paints location and van are kept clean and orderly.
18. Ensures routine maintenance is performed on the truck and completes mileage log and maintenance log.
19. Other miscellaneous tasks, as needed.

Education & Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
• One Year experience is preferred, but not required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move 50 to 75 pounds. Additionally, the employee must be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time with frequent bending.
