Food Truck Supervisor
Flores Food Truck operates as a permanent food truck service location inside vehicle motor company in Buffalo, NY to service employees.
Our ideal candidate is a positive, energetic individual with leadership skills.
Our food truck supervisor will be responsible for prepping all food ingredients and preparing and serving food for 2-3 shifts, 5 days per week, assigning work to food truck staff, kitchen and food truck cleaniness, staff management, scheduling, hiring (with assistance of owners). He or she will also be responsible for the ordering for the kitchen, menu costing and assisting and leading their team in daily service inside the plant. Please ONLY APPLY for this position of you have multiple years of cooking experience and training, and at least 3 years of kitchen leadership experience. A culinary degree is a plus but not required if you have extensive experience.
Job Functions Include but are NOT limited to:
1. Responsible for production according to recipes/directions
2. Assist your kitchen team with food production
3. Cut and clean a variety of fruits, vegetables, and proteins using a knife and/or cutting machines
4. Prepare and serve food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
5. Follows production sheets, portioning and merchandising details as instructed by the Regional Chef and Owner
6. Follows all recipes and guidelines while meeting production deadlines
7. Responsible for menu collaboration, weekly and monthly specials.
8. Responsible for working with Regional Chef and Owner to maintain profitable food cost.
9. Ensures consistent quality on all prepared items
10. Tastes all food prepared for station to ensure flavor, freshness, and quality.
11. Maintains a clean and organized station and prep area, wash dishes, keep kitchen equipment clean, mop floors.
12. Maintains kitchen equipment
13. Follows proper rotation and storage of goods
14. Follows safety and sanitation procedures with all guidelines from OSHA, Department of Public Health and Risk Management
15. Leadership and team management
16. Provide excellent customer service for each customer you are serving.
